Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am has worked with Britney Spears on her upcoming new album ‘Femme Fatale’ (out on March 29th). The producer promised anticipated fans on twitter this weekend that he’d do whatever he could to deliver a snippet of the track which is titled ‘The Big Fat Bass’. The underwhelming track title is an uptempo electropop club cut, set to shake up the dancefloor. “The bass is an important element to club dance music. This song celebrates bass” he said about the song’s concept.

Will.i.am’s autotuned vocals are really messy and the song reaks of Black Eyed Peas. This could easily have been a Fergie track. The song starts off with a riveting piano before Britney takes over. The production then catapults into one massive high treble beat. At least the other snippets had Britney’s touch as she made sure to revisit the sounds from her previous back catalogue.
