After Fantasia enjoyed several feastings of ‘Collard Greens & Cornbread’, she revisted the American Idol stage last night and sang about the very dish she’s been enjoying for months. The singer showed off her new burgeoning curves in a glitzy Jessica Rabbit-style dress and debuted yet another weird hairstyle in the form of a blonde pompadour. This is the second time Fantasia performed a track from her latest album ‘Back to Me’ on American Idol.

After belting out the song and bringing to light her unique but powerful vocal range, she delivered a sexy shoutout to judge Steven Tyler and recieved a standing ovation from all three judges. At present, the 26-year-old is preparing for her first film role, playing gospel singer Mahalia Jackson in a biopic based on the 1993 book ‘Got to Tell It: Mahalia Jackson, Queen of Gospel’. Although she’s been eating good these days (likely for her new role), it’s clear that Fanny is in a better place than she was a year ago. If she succeeded in her suicide attempt, we would not be subjected to enjoying nice performances like these.
