Rihanna graced the ‘American Idol’ stage last night to perform her latest new single, ‘California King Bed’, from her platinum selling album ‘Loud’. The 23-year-old pop minx ditched her chains and whips to present viewers with a stunning, vocally appeasing and very classy, elegant performance.
The big hair was back in action and she was rocking a stunning velvet gown which restricted most of her movement. Although velvet is considered a fall/winter fabric, she pulled it off rather nicely. Rihanna wouldn’t be Rihanna without the breaking of some fashion barriers. Without doubt, this was definetely one of the singer’s stronger vocal moments.

I just saw this on another site and I have to say this by far was THE BEST vocal performance of her career. Not only is this my favorite song from that album, she showed up and showed out good for her cause this is a big song vocally and she made me proud. Bravo and she looked adorable.
