British pop songstress Jessie J poses it up on the cover of the May/June issue of YRB magazine. The accompanying photoshoot took place in Manhattan recently and was shot by noted photographer Mike Ruiz. The 23-year-old singer discusses her less than perfect physical health and how it has only influenced her further to pursue her dreams.
She also discusses the global success of her latest album ‘Who You Are’, which she released Stateside recently and the songs that are the most inspirational (‘Big White Room’ and ‘Who You Are’). The publication then goes onto confirm that she’s started penning new songs for her sophomore album and is hoping to work with artists including Kim Burrell, Jill Scott, Jazmine Sullivan and her idol Aretha Franklin. She also plans a world tour to promote the project. Click here to read the entire cover story. Very insightful read.
