Is Janelle Monae wearing white socks and sandals? *crickets* Monae has been wearing the same outfit since… forever. I know it’s her signature style but she doesn’t even experiment with colours or anything! Black and white all the time can get rather daunting after a while.

As ever, she turned over a great set, while performing music from her critically acclaimed album ‘The ArchAndroid (Suites II and III)’. I’m not sure how much longer she’ll be able to keep up this James Brown schtick but she deserves a lasting career. The singing, dancing, artistry and panache is undeniable.
