Watch (or maybe not) Beyonce’s new edit for ‘Run The World’…

An alternative version of Beyonce‘s ‘Run The World (Girls)’ music video has now surfaced online…

That’s alternative as in same footage, different edits. The only change would be the visual becoming a lot more dance-insufficient. So when they take away the one thing that made the video hot, you get a painstaking yawnfest visual. Top that off with further ear punishment (no other distractions from the awful music).

I’m not here for fancy sets and a fashion show. Either, you give us a hot concept or you dance your ass off. Hopefully, we get the latter when she premieres her ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ music video later today. The different edit of the video appears on the deluxe edition version at Target.

This alternative edit is cool for fans to have as a bonus. It would have been a different story if this was the main version which was put out.

One of my criticisms of the main edit video was that some of her looks were cool, but only shown for like a second. This alternate edit shows that there was at least the intention of showing them at some point.

As a bonus thing, it cool!

Also, the UK deluxe edition of “4″ includes this video too

No, I believe this is the first version of the video that got delayed. She saw the Sean Bankhead dancing video of her own song and saw it was waaaaaayyyy better than her video and knew she had to step her game up.

Haha Rihanna releases dancey songs like Only girl, S&M etc, yet couldn’t care less about moving her feet an inch. Hell, Rihanna didn’t even do a 2 step in Man Down, (arguably one of the danciest songs out now). Toya please stop being so biased please.

That said, I like some of the new scenes in this video and I like the way it ended.

Beyonce always puts an alternate version of her video out for fans, its not for sale or anything (it doesn’t have to be awesome, she already released the awesome version)… it is just for fun. Kinda like the fan version of Ego.

This isn’t the first version of the video…the one that was released isn’t either…according to people on twitter that was at that listening she had, the original version she showed there was not the one she released (and is not this director’s cut one either)…so basically there are 3 versions of the video…if you notice, the trailer for the video features a lot of scenes that are in the original version (shown at the screening) that aren’t in the one that ended up getting released

@pookie…LOL! That CKB video was the most pointless, uninspiring shit I’ve ever seen…but, with a few exceptions, that’s usual fare for Rihanna as far as her music videos go – taking sultry beauty shots while touching herself.

But maybe Toya’s expectations for Rihanna are lower than what she holds for Beyonce (although she’ll never say that out loud). This is why I try to desist from bringing up Rihanna in Bey posts…one artist is leagues ahead of the other, the comparisons are unfair to one and unmerited to the other.

@ ABC. Whatever version it is she should of kept it & it never should of seen the light of day. She’s literally just standing around and singing and this isn’t the type of track for that, this is a dancer’s track. I feel like the version that was released didnt have enough dancing either. I expected her to get down and let loose and she was more reserved
