Christina Milian tells The BoomBox that her new album will no longer be called ‘Elope’. At present, the project is now “untitled”. Milian appears optimistic about the album’s development and says: “It’s happening, it is really happening. I’ve been working with [producers] Young Yani, The Interns, this guy named Sham, a lot of really good, local producers here in L.A. A lot of great writers like The Writer’s camp and stuff, and it’s exciting”.

It was predictable she’d ditch ‘Elope’. The title was based around her Las Vegas wedding to producer The-Dream. That marriage ended in Milian’s public humiliation. With many of the songs being produced by her ex, she has ditched his material and started a fresh because she’s currently at a “new chapter” in her life. Hopefully, the next music update will be the premiere of her new single. For this has been an ongoing situation for years. Scrapped album. Starting over. Scrapped album. Starting over…
