Keri Hilson performed her latest ‘No Boys Allowed’ single ‘Lose Control’ this week for AOL Sessions. It was a good performance. She sang live and sounded great doing so. It’s a good idea she’s still invested in promoting the record. Despite the 28-year-old not making a start with recording her third studio album, she says it will be “a little more emotional” in terms of content.

Although I really enjoyed ‘No Boys Allowed’, I’m not really fussed about a new Keri album. What happened to the days an artist would work their album for as long as possible and not allow it to go to waste? There are still some great single choices on ‘No Boys Allowed’ and ‘Toy Soldier’ is clearly one of them. Peep the performance below.
