A new song from Monica‘s ‘New Life’ recording sessions has just surfaced online. The track is titled ‘Do It All Again’ and it is produced by Norwegian producers Stargate. There may be no sampled beats on this but Stargate sure know how to recycle the hell out of their ‘Beyonce/Irreplaceable‘ template. Monica shows regret at her relationship not making the distance, wishing she could go back in time so she could do things differently. It’s laidback, well sung but very repetitive.
There’s no word on whether or not the radio friendly ‘Do It All Again’ will make her upcoming ‘New Life’ album. The project is scheduled to drop in stores on November 29th. Take a listen to the newly leaked cut below.
Recycled sound or not, this song is hotness. Women never take enough blame in these songs, so I always welcome it. Anytime the woman isn’t the victim and the guy is actually the one doing right is awesome. So well done Monica, it’s great to hear you staying very balanced in the ways you sing about relationships, it’s refreshing.
Can’t wait for this album to drop because every album she’s dropped had been dope. I might have to go to sleep to ‘The Makings Of Me’ now. Very underrated album.

I live this song it’s written by Johnta Austin a lot of his old demos are being used today. Glenn Lewis redid his song Good One and Now this one from monica. Funny because I have the original one’s on my ipod and i prefer Johnta versions lol….although I love Monica’s as well!
