Chart queen Adele has chosen to go the simple, concept-less and focal direction for her newly premiered music video ‘Someone Like You’. Instead, the 23-year-old allows her voice to take centre stage. In the black and white Jake Nava-directed visual, Adele is seen doing her bit of sight seeing in France while conveying sadness at the breakdown of her relationship. A concept visual would have been nice. However…

The video itself was classy and its simplicity further epitomised loneliness and heartbreak which fully embraces and defines the song. The unstoppable track has since returned to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Check out the focal music video after the jump.
