Flashback: Is this where it all started for Beyonce & Jay-Z?

In a previous interview, Beyonce said she started dating rapper Jay-Z at 19-years-old. This photo was taking in 1998 when Destiny’s Child were debuting artists. It’s a very interesting photo and beggars the question whether or not a 28-year-old Jay-Z realised his attraction to Beyonce when she was just 16-years-old. If he did feel an attraction towards the then 16-year-old, at least we can respect him for waiting for Beyonce to reach legal age before he dated her.

Who’d have thought Beyonce and Jay-Z would end up dating for almost a decade, followed by marriage and baby?

Their relationship began as soon as mathew knowles shook hands with jay-z on their arrangement to have jay get with beyondgay for publicity. bey was too dumb and young to know that she was just being used lmao.

@toya, jay once said on the charlie rose interview in 07, that they met in ’97… All i can say is he really was feeling her because even during the times when dc had farrah in the group, j was always there behind the scenes, there’s tons of pics of them lol.. Jay is really good with being patient lmao

no aaliyah and jay knew each other from brooklyn, j actually is the one that set her up with dame, according to memphis bleek. Bey once said(during aaliyah’s passing) that they called themselves the breakfast club(that vid was on yt) j even mentions that in the i miss u remix he made.

@ Teyah, That don’t mean anything, Its not like she waited after marriage to lose her virginity!! There are plenty who have dated first, marriage and then have babies, yes in the business shes in, and she won’t be the last. She didn’t get pregnant because she was fortunate and maybe it wasn’t her time (God’s time, when he planned for her to get pregnant.) We can’t plan that, we can pray and hope about it but its not something that we can just say or snapped our fingers will happen, whether we are having sex or not. Stop making it seem like shes a saint and putting others down.

The gorgeous Bee! Beyonce was simply born beautiful. Sure their paths crossed in the late 90s, but it wasn’t until early 2001 that their paths crossed again. Jay-z was right to wait till she was legal before dating her. Don’t get mad coz Beyonce did things according to her own time and right. Get mad your faves for being sluts, having kids out of wedlock and being homewreckers.
