Ciara’s new album gets “hit” song from Hit-Boy…

Popular producer Hit-Boy has told MTV that he has teamed up with fellow producer Soundz to craft a hit for Ciara‘s new album (to be released on Epic Records next year).

The track in question is appropriately titled ‘Hit Boy’. Nice way to pay homage to yourself Mister! He describes the song as an “energetic” cut which is not only club-friendly but radio-friendly as well. Alongside Rico Love, the 24-year-old is probably one of the most sought-after producers in R&B right now. He is working on the upcoming new album of Brandy, produced a ballad for Monica‘s new album ‘New Life’ and crafted ‘Watch n’ Learn’ on Rihanna‘s new album ‘Talk That Talk’. Im glad she is going to a variety of producers on this record. It won’t be a one sounded record like Basic Instinct but we all know jive didn’t give funds for other producers so pretty much dream n tricky did her a favor. But anyways as of right she’s in a good place, she’s recording with a variety producers, she has la Reid, she’s on a new label. She’s getting that support she needed but the main problem was the marketing so they better market her like crazy

Stop with allthe promo and markenting excuses. Yes, that was a reason but the music wasnt hot. Compare the singles and album from goodies to FR and BI, there was no G, 1,2 or Oh on it, either way.

Fuck what u say. It was All about. The #promo. Fantasy ride was better than the Evolution it just didn’t have a marketing strategy, as well as Basic instinct not marketed. I said this before, i take no other female artist serious. I think that Beyonce,Ciara, and Rihanna runs the music world when it comes to Young black female artist over the POP,rnb,urban sound. People might laugh at ciara’s name being in that category because she hasn’t been scoring as high on the charts as she should have been as of late. But when I think of those 3 I see iconic Talent. Even tho we know rihanna is the best dancer she’s a hell of an entertainer. And people like her. When I see ciara perform from Goodies to now I see a born star and performer. Nobody can deny the work ethic of ciara. And beyonce we already know she’s an icon even tho she BORROWS like hell. Ciara GoodLuck and I wish u much Greatness on your new album. I’m happy that La believed in you. All I can say is that this is the rebirth of a icon.
