Watch: Keri Hilson refuses to hold magazine cover with Beyonce on it…

Juicy magazine has the juice. When they asked Keri Hilson to hold up their magazine, she blatantly said “no”. Why’s that eh?

Hilson, who made it clear in the past that she’s no Beyonce fan, looks down at the magazine, sees Beyonce on the cover and then refuses. Funny that, because this was about supporting the publication, not co-signing Beyonce. If that were her little brother Chris Brown, the response would have been different. At the time of reporting, Hilson’s latest album ‘No Boys Allowed’ has sold 272K copies in the US since its release on December 21st 2010.

Juicy Magazine is a “False Tabloid Magazine” like inTOUCH, STAR, National Enquirer, Juicy is no “People Magazine” Where most things are true, Amber Rose, Anthony Hamilton, & Lance Gross are irrelevant in this case, because these tabloids are not even checking for them and they had no idea what type of magazine they was holding up and supporting..I read Juicy at work on my lunch break and they had a lot of negative things to say about Keri Hilson throughout her career in the music industry over time, so she knew exactly what the magazine was and didn’t want to hold it up in support..And she said “yeah, who is that?” is because they handed her the magazine then they asked her to hold it up for a shout out, and she said No…This video was heavily edited..”

I’ve never seen Beyonce pose with another artist on the cover of a magazine. I don’t know why people are saying she shaded Bey because she said NO. Its in her right to decline.
When Beyonce performed Girls who run the world on that award show I remember Keri being very supportive.

I heard Keri is trippin over Usher picking Beyonce to do the “Love in the Club” track over her. But, why is Keri mad when she is getting paid off that hit. If you’re a songwriter, then you WANT people sining your songs to the top of the charts. Beyonce could have gone and there and rewrote her mess, then she would get no checks. I have so much respect for this woman. She grinds her ass off and writes stellar songs. I wouldn’t hold up a magazine that didn’t have myself on the cover either for a shout out. and I like some of B’s music (tho that 4 album is wretched, boring trash) but she’s not a real artist. Some of you peeps don’t get it. The interviewer was trying to get people to give props to the magazine, not Beyonce and Jay Z. They just happen to be on the cover of that issue. Keri did give a shoutout, but refused to hold the magazine up. I just find that unprofessional. She wonders why her career is where it’s at?? You think Beyonce likes everyone or thing she is asked to give shoutouts to. No, but you can’t find an incident where she has been unprofessional. At this point, Keri needs to stay behind the scenes as a songwriter, cause as an artist she can’t handle business.

Beyonce is my favorite singer (next to Brandy) but it’s not a big deal to me. No one is entitled to Beyonce and if she didn’t wanna do it, she has that right. She politely declined and that’s fine. I really don’t see the big deal.

PS, Keri & Bey have accomplished so much in life (no matter how different the degree). Instead of criticizing sales beyond a keyboard, you all should try accomplishing half of what they have. End of
