Funky soul conceptualist Janelle Monae, just like Ciara, has posed for Vogue Paris. The new shoot coincides with the 25-year-old’s confirmation that she is set to release two new albums next year. She says writing for the project is “84.799 percent” complete and she will release them according to her “soul clock”.

She’s also determined to put out songs that “empower, encourage and make you dance”. Monae is perfection in my book. She’s one of those artists that sounds better live than she does on the record. Very excited.
