Rihanna and Chris Brown’s “I Love You” subtweets cause an uproar amongst fans….

“Subtweet: it’s the shortening of ‘subliminal tweet’ which is directly referring to a particular person without mentioning their name or directly mentioning them.”

Around 11:30am EST (US) Rihanna took to her unfiltered twitter account to tweet this cryptic message, “I will always love you #1LOVE”. Less than a minute later Chris Brown replied with, “Love U more than you know!” Neither one is slick and both have been clocked as it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to discern what they’re talking about. The world is watching…

Personal aside: Is anyone surprised? Frankly I’ve always believed that if the events of February 2009′s “incident” had never come light, the two of them would have continued their torrid love affair without hesitation. It’s a shame these two can’t get back together for the simple fact that it would be career suicide for Rihanna and the public’s obsession with morality deems a Chris Brown & Rihanna reunion “morally wrong”. If they decided to publicly get back together, how would you feel? Would you even care? Thoughts?

I wouldnt care they love each other obviously. They belong together. In no way do I accept what Chris did but I truly believes he is sorry. I think everyone just needs to hop off them and let them be together because its killing them inside that they aren’t

I would love to see them together in the spot light as friends and working together musically, without being in a relationship(i don’t think thats possible though). But I don’t think they should go together again. I Don’t Chris is down right abusive, and I don’t think Rihanna is crazy

I was never the biggest Breezy fan to begin with and for the longest time HATED the idea of them ever gettting back together. However (if this WAS directed toward Chris) I don’t think it was meant to be taken that srsly. A person can still have “love” for someone without wanting to f@#king then u know! gawd! Besides, I think it’s obvious Riri has outgrown Chris and that relationship.

I think they just keep trying to test the public to see their reaction to them getting back together but though Chris has gotten (kind of) back into the public’s good graces, he is still struggling to reach the successes of the pre-beatdown days and them getting back together wouldn’t do either of them any favors. It would just be a constant reminder of that fateful night.

First, for all we know these tweets are more for publicity than because there is some real love here. I wonder how CB’s girlfriend feels about this? If CB showed himself to be in control of his anger more, then I don’t think it would hurt Riri’s career to get back with him, if she is really interested.

@mofan95 I agree 100%, leave them alone let them liver their lives. Everyone is given at least 1 mistake and he and she! both made one. People get on my nervers acting like they have never been in this kind situation before and not got back with that one, may it be her or him doing whatever. I agree with most of the posters here, I think this is a publicity stunt. Chris has limited his use on twitter because he can’t seem to control himself. His new album will be out soon and his latest single isn’t doing so well. Therefore, in true form, he is utilizing the one incident that gets people talking about him. Riri is more than likely trying to help him (that’s even if these tweets are directed towards each other. Riri has a tendency to tweet about love and he could’ve been tweeting lyrics to an upcoming single). She could also be subtweeting Matt Kemp’s fine ass!

To answer the question, I don’t think they should get back together. I’m not a fan of either which is why I personally wouldn’t feel anything. But that’d be career suicide for both of them. Besides, they don’t bring the best out in each other. It’s unhealthy.

@R&B_Connoisseur Cosign everything you said. But, unlike you, I am a fare weather fan of Rihanna(never got Chris’s appeal). She is proving everyday she is NOT the sharpest tool in the toolbox. I HATE how they are making a mockery out of something so serious as domestic violence. Especially considering the number of women who lose their life every damn day because of an abusive partner(I lost my 3rd cousin this way.) It’s sickening to say the least. They want ppl to forget about this situation until it suits them, until they have something to promote. There is no level these celebrities will not stoop to to put another dime in their pocket. All this shameless promotion is embarrassing. Rihanna should be ashamed of herself. I expect this kind of crap from Chris because he has the maturity of a 3 yr old. I say leave them the fuc*k alone. I sure they know what they are doing. Rihanna just brought in 90 mil from her tour so if she tours again and get 150 mil that great also. I think they both have a suprise for the media and I think it’s about that photoshop picture of her after the incident. I believe it was not her that did it but she knows who did. And at this point Rihanna don’t care.
