UK boyband JLS serve up their latest charity single ‘Proud’, which is in aid of Sport Relief 2012 (released on March 18th). The boys connect to their emotional side for the heartfelt piano ballad. It’s pretty much run of the mill boyband fodder but a nice change from the nasty autotune and generic electro beats we’ve become accustomed to. The cut, which was co-written by the band along with Ali Tennant and producer Cutfather, will aid the campaign to help vulnerable people in both the UK and Third World countries. Go on. Take a listen.

The colourful quartet will participate in the Sport Relief Mile charity run on 25th March and are also due to perform the song during the Sports Relief live show on Friday, 23rd March. They will also be putting on a special one-off matinee concert for the cause at The O2 on Saturday 24th March – where they will be joined by special guests.
