Etta James dies & Beyonce delivers a touching tribute…

Sad news shook the music world today. Legendary diva Etta James passed away a few hours ago due to complications from Leukemia (January 20th). She would have turned 74 on Wednesday. Beyonce, who previously portrayed the late singer in the movie ‘Cadillac Records’ has now released a tributing statement. On that note, R.I.P. Ms Etta James. In a harsh unaccepting time, your struggles in life may have had an unfavourable impact on your career but it never affected your talent or the incredible music you blessed us with.

“This is a huge loss. Etta James was one of the greatest vocalists of our time. I am so fortunate to have met such a queen. Her musical contributions will last a lifetime. Playing Etta James taught me so much about myself, and singing her music inspired me to be a stronger artist. When she effortlessly opened her mouth, you could hear her pain and triumph. Her deeply emotional way of delivering a song told her story with no filter. She was fearless, and had guts. She will be missed” – Beyonce.

Beyonce’s career practically breathed it’s last breath in 2011.

At least, Etta James actually lived long enough to see this starlet’s minor blip of a career end.

Oh puleeez… that statement came from Beyaawwwnce’s PR. The fake fraud bitch didnt write that herself. We all know Bey cant write or speak properly at all IRL. Loved when Etta lashed out and slammed fake-yaawwnce at one of her shows. Etta said in an interview what Beyaawwnce portrayed her as in Cadillac Records was fake and most of that was just script writing – plotlines that didnt happen in reality.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times. I just don’t get it…. Why all the extreme hate towards this woman? There are artists that I don’t care for, but I don’t go out of my way to read every post or article about them just to trash them. That would scream of jealousy and pettiness to me. Don’t ya’ll realize that every time you click on an article or post a comment about her, you KEEP her relevant and in your face? Magazines and blog sites only write articles about people that will generate buzz. Good or bad. If no one really cared, they wouldn’t read the articles or watch a show featuring that person, and eventually that person would be replaced by someone who WAS generating traffic to a site or tv show ratings, etc. So all of you thinking that trashing Beyonce will make her go away, you are sadly misguided. It’s really basic common sense… but I guess not everyone has it.
