R&B stars Ciara and Trey Songz are both readying new albums for later this year. This week, Ciara visited Shade 45’s booth at Super Bowl week to chat with hosts Sway and Devi Dev. One of the subjects brought up was the recording process of her new album, which she says she’s a co-producer of. “As a business woman I’ve grown, musically I’ve grown, I don’t want to say too much but I co-produced so far on one of my records and it’s fun cos I’m literally a part of making the music” she said. Fun indeed, but not so fun if she flops this time. I’m actually terrified for her.

Songz also spoke about his upcoming new album ‘Chapter V’. “I think the new album will reflect very much where I’m going as a person and what I’ve been through. Music, for me, is very much an expression of how I felt at the time when that song was made” he said during an interview with model Selita Ebanks for VMAN magazine. The crooner will launch his nationwide ‘Anticipation 2our’ with Big Sean on February 9th in Cleveland, Ohio. Check out his topless photoshoot for the men’s fashion magazine after the jump.
