Madonna‘s second new single ‘Girls Gone Wild’ premiered on VEVO earlier today. The uptempo cut is lifted from her upcoming new album ‘M.D.N.A.’ and has a release date of March 26th.
The 53-year-old shot the music video last week with directors Mert and Marcus who photographed her ‘M.D.N.A.’ album artwork. She also began rehearsals for her sold-out world tour as well. Produced by Italian DJ Benny Benassi and Alle Benassi, ‘Girls Gone Wild’ is quadruple wackalicious!
Even with the aid of auto-tune, the faceless, clubby dance production is further flawed by Madge’s nasally thin vocals and basic lyrics. I guess that was the point given that the message is all about having fun at the club, letting your hair down and allowing the music to intoxicate you. But this does not intoxicate me in the slightest. I take the Nicki Minaj-assisted ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ over this any day of the week and that song is not good either. But compared to this, ‘Luvin’ is the ultimate ear orgasm. *goes back to playing ‘Party & Bullsh*t’*
Horrible.
