Performance: Chris Brown performs ‘Turn Up the Music’ at NBA halftime show…

All eyes were on Chris Brown last night when he performed at the NBA All-Star Game halftime show.

Chris has been in the headlines for all sorts. Not just for his controversial duets with Rihanna. But because of the possibility that he may face jail time for allegedly snatching an iPhone from a fan who took his photo a week ago. Dumb ass move considering that he is still on probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009. SMH…

Anyway, the R&B heart throb hasn’t allowed such drama to get in the way of his musical endeavours or promotional gigs for upcoming new album ‘Fortune’ (out on March 16th). And, proving that the show must go on, he joined Pitbull on stage for their collaborative single ‘International Love’, before launching into his own top 10 hit ‘Turn Up the Music’ (mark 7:45). Although he needs work on his live vocals, I applaud him for not lip synching, while doing all that hard cheoreography. Shortly after, Ne-yo came on to join Pitbull for their collaborative single ‘Give Me Everything’. Check out the action below!

I love you Toya, I love your blog and have been a fan for years… I understand we all have favourites and personal opinions but thats what really pisses me off. You say that Chris Brown needs to “Work” on his live vocals…?? Really? He is on level with Britney with live singing! You praise the shit that comes out of Rihanna’s ass. And then you have the nearve to look fot faults in other artist. Like Kelly Rowland, I don’t know if the woman ran your cat over, Robbed your granny or stole your man but you look for the worst vocal performances from her. Then post them being not just negative but plain MEAN and SPITEFULL. The other day she sang Whitneys “Greatest Love Of All” For the boxer Muhamid Ali’s birthday and BLEW everyone away but would you post a good performance? NO. She also done a set in a club the other night with her own music Commander, When Love Takes Over, Work, Motivation, Lay It On Me, Then Whitney’s classics How Do I Know, It’s Not Right (But It’s Ok), Im Every Woman and I Wanna Dance With Somebody. AMAZING! Other blogs posted them, Did you just look at them and think OMG, THAT WAS GREAT…. So I can’t post them? Lemme look for some Rihanna shit and praise it? Probs… *Truth*

Um, you’re reaching. There were loads of Whitney tributes I didn’t post because they were now becoming a consistent thing. The last Kelly performance I posted was when she tributed Mariah Carey. Did I not praise her vocals with ZERO shade? Yeah. Seems like you see what you want to see. I can give props when due.

Well ALOT of people have said it about you. Just to point out I also did say I love your blog and been a fan for years which I have. Im not trying to start an argument or just bash you I just had to post what was on my mind. I also agree, When someone is terrible like Mary J the other day then why should you say she was great? Toya does shade Kelly to the max I remember her posting Kelly performance of “Down for whatever” on the graham show and then she said kelly vocals wasn’t good uhm I watched it and she slayed she was dancing her Ass off! Then Rihanna grammy performance Gets so much praise and the she Insults dancers all over the world and called that Jumping and shaking like a wackjob dancing And rihanna sounded like a cat being anal raped! After that post I knew she was delusional
