Melanie Fiona‘s new album ‘The MF Life’ is projected to sell between a lack luster 23K to 27K next week.

With limited promotion, the singer released ‘The MF Life’ on March 20th courtesy of SRC/Universal Republic. Such low first week sales could very well indicate her failure to secure a top 10 ranking on the Billboard 200 chart. This is absolutely disgusting, but not shocking. Melanie never brought in the selling power with her debut album ‘The Bridge’, which to date has sold 360k units in the States. Unfortunately, it seems Melanie will only be known for her Grammy-nominated single ‘It Kills Me’. Listening to ‘The MF Life’ shows that good R&B albums still get made, but lack that much needed support.
