Ms Janelle Monae recently recieved a prestigious invite to perform at The White House.

Janelle was on hand to bring in some light-hearted entertainment to President Obama‘s Easter Egg Roll. Janelle, who has been touring with Obama for the past few months now, delivered a standard-fare performance of the Jackson 5 classic ‘I Want You Back’. As well as preparing to release a new album this year, she’s currently enjoying major chart success with ‘We Are Young’. The track, a collaboration with Fun, has recently topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Fun are an indie pop/alternative rock band from New York City and such success has exposed Janelle to a broader audience. Good for her! We love to see true talent thrive. I just wish she’d change her f***ing clothes.
