Melanie Fiona‘s 35-minute set for Walmart Soundcheck saw the singer perform tunes from her introspective new album ‘The MF Life.’

Low first week sales and a love split from the drop dead gorgeous Adam Rodriguez clearly has this chick determined to keep fighting that fight. In between live performances, Melanie opens up about the personal nature of the project giving us more insight into each track. Her setlist included six songs: ‘This Time’, ‘Give It To Me Right’, ‘Running’, ‘Wrong Side Of A Love Song’, ‘It Kills Me’, and ’4AM’. Some of the songs performed were a revisitation from her debut album ‘The Bridge’. The live set was recorded at the legendary Troubadour in West Hollywood.
