Cheryl Cole poses for a hot new photoshoot in the latest UK edition of GQ magazine, with Mariano Vivanco behind the lens.

The singer was previously criticised by her OWN X Factor protege Cher Lloyd for being too lip-sync happy on stage, prompting a burned Cheryl to send out a cryptic twitter message targeting the 18-year-old. The former X Factor judge has now addressed her hurt at Lloyd’s ungrateful attitude to GQ: “I went through hell to get her on that programme. Even with Simon. Everyone says stuff at the beginning of their career that they will learn to regret. It’s disappointing because I fought for her. Maybe I didn’t teach her as well as I thought I had.”

Her hurt is totally understandable because it was during that time she recieved major flack for rejecting Gamu for a less talented Lloyd. It’s one thing for blogs to say Cole can’t sing for sh*t but when it is someone that shaped your career and fought hard for your place in the music industry, you just don’t bite the hand that fed you. Ever. Because, you never know when you will need to eat from those very same hands again.

While we’re here, you can now check out an extended teaser for her Anthony Mandler-directed ‘Call My Name’ music video:

Nice shoot.

Cheryl’s Calvin Harris-produced new single ‘Call My Name’ is lifted from her new album ‘A Million Lights’ which hits stores on June 18th.
