Dawn Richard strikes a pretty, colourful pose in the latest issue of Pynk magazine. Dawn reveals to the mag that five years from now, she hopes to continue to push the envelope through her music. She embraces innovation and hopes people will appreciate something different other than what’s ‘hot’. Big aspirations from Diddy‘s former back up singer but not entirely impossible.

Dawn also voices her opinion on same sex marriage (she’s not exactly co-signing, but still gives the ‘play it safe’, “politically” correct opinion) and cites being in Danity Kane, as well as working with legendary Grace Jones as some of her career highlights.
