Ciara announces new album, first single…

Ciara is on her way BACK! The singer has just announced that her upcoming new album is titled ‘One Woman Army’, while the brand new single is called ‘Sweat’. The announcement was made during a Q&A with MTV, as she was promoting her role in the new Adam Sandler movie ‘That’s My Boy’. I assume this is the very news that was behind her recent, much talked about twitter countdown. The new album will serve as her Epic Records debut, set to drop later this year.

‘One Woman Army’ isn’t just the name of the album, it will also appear as an album track. Kelly Clarkson songwriter Ali Tamposi (‘Stronger’), spoke about the track in March describing it as angst, edge and female empowerment. Exciting! Now that Ciara is back with LA Reid (the very man that signed her), fans can only be confident that label support will no longer be an issue this time. Welcome back!

I want urban-pop too. Not hardcore R&B, and not hardcore pop. Something in between that’s really hot. I will not be happy if it’s straight up dance-pop though. Just because it’s popular, doesn’t mean you will get an instant hit.

Words Can’t explain the Excitement Rushing through my Body.. I read a tweet yesterday saying that “I wouldn’t dare call ciara a Flop, because These days its mostly the Labels that Are flops not the ARTIST”…. An that is so fucking true if ciara had big Management behind her for the last 2 like she did the 1st 2 Albums She would Still be on TOP TOP.. I haven’t been into Ciara since Goodies. But, with the new label, I am starting to pay attention to her again. Hopefully, they have revamped her and she can become a hit again.

Fantasy Ride is underrated I hathink that if she would have went with her gut and released ‘High Price’ or even the ‘Echo’ remix with Jeezy that album would not have flopped.
