Robin Thicke honours the late Whitney Houston with a new black and white music visual for her 1995 hit ‘Exhale (Shoop Shoop)’. Usually, Thickey boy can’t do no wrong in my eyes but I just could not bring myself to enjoy his take on the track. I think the song is better suited to a female vocal. At the same time, I still respect him and his genuine love for the legendary Ms Houston.

It’s still a nice visual however but the song didn’t levitate me. Oh well. In related news, Thicke reveals to CNN that “middle America” still does not know who he is. “I’ve really only had one song that played on the pop charts,” he says. “All my music lives on black radio. So, TV is a huge opportunity to be seen by everyone in Middle America and all these other places where I don’t really tour”. He was referring to his mentoring role on ABC’s new singing competition ‘Duets’ and how it can help to expose him to a wider audience.
