Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias kicked off their co-headlining tour at the Bell Center in Montreal last night. After her sizzling 80-minute set, the Latina Lovely sat in the audience to watch Enrique perform his stage spectacle. The pair will perform a second show in Montreal tonight, then head off to Toronto before making their way to the US. See some top notch quality footage from last night’s set below.

I’ve been following the Latin American leg of the tour, and she’s been killing it!!! She is one of the industry’s top performers even if stale chicks like Rihanna are garnering the sales. I’ve been really impressed with J.Lo’s live performances, vocals, and choreo. hot!

I watched every video. The choreography was on point. You’re right! Yes, she had a backing track, attempted to sing live in part, but never failed to put on a good show. I wonder if she will shoot a DVD given that this is her very first tour.

i dont like how you can be considered a top performer with vocals like that .. maybe i have an impossible standard (which is why i dont go to many concerts) but i just feel like where are the people that can sing AND dance .. it seems like where in an industry where you only get one .. this isnt a personal attack on jlo because shes been in the industry for awhile (acting has really helped to supplement the music career tho) im just sick of watching ppl who can dance have to compromise the vocals and ppl who can sing that are stiff as hell .. am i asking too much for a well rounded perfomer .. i kno theres more in the world than just bey and gaga.. labels need to start investing just as much money and time in artist development as they do on styling and videos #randomrantover lol

i certainly hope so toya, a dvd would be excellent, but I’m lucky enough to be attending the london show!

For the record, Toya, many of the performances were live. The ballads and midtempos were live. Even faster tracks like Lets Get Loud, On the Floor, Waiting for Tonight, Hold it Don’t Drop It etc were live. You can hear her breathing in between and talking to the auidence. When she says ‘now you sing,’ for example, the audio stays in the same range as her talking to the audience.

Is it hard to believe that JLo may actually be a top notch well rounded performer that can sing and dance at the same time NOW compared to years ago when she would lip synch or do a pre recorded live track? The past reputation haunts her now but I know she was singing live 90% of the time. I think pre recorded tracks are just as obvious as lip synching.

And a DVD better be in the works for sure! They should release it around the holiday season towards the end of the year if they’re smart.

Let’s Get Loud was live. And loved the theme/dance/ costume change. HOT remake of her classic!

Dance Again the verses were live and the rest was a backing track with tons of jumping around and dancing.

If you want a powerful voice, go to the opera. If you want a joke entertainer, go see Britney lip synch and barely dance.

If you want to be entertained by hot choreo, vocals, and a showmanship, buy your JLo ticket.

Really hope there will be a tour DVD. I’m going to the concert but would still love a DVD! She is an amazing performer!

I was there and she was definitely incredible, had seen her before with Marc Anthony when she was pregnant and this time around she looked so happy, her voice, dancing and performance was great, she really gave it her all! Great energy and fan interaction too!

I was expecting more from Enrique, he needs to rely on a little more than just his looks to get the crowd going.
