Dawn Richard recently performed an acoustic version of her song ‘Automatic’ for the first time on KIIS FM’s ‘New Music Show’. Dawn is also preparing to shoot a music video this week for ‘Wild N’ Young’. Good music resides in the quality and raw passion in an artists’ story, voice and delivery and Dawn embodies that in every sense.

Dawn did an amazing job with this performance especially since the track was drenched in all of its computerised glory. She should sing over more live instrumentation, as it so brings out the beauty in her vocals. For the first time in quite a while, Dawn actually sounds like Dawn, and not a Brandy.
