JoJo speaks to Billboard about why she decided to re-record her new album. Apparently, it just didn’t feel like her anymore especially now that she’s 21. As a result, the ‘Jumping Trains’ album title was scrapped. The record’s brilliant lead single ‘Demonstrate’, was produced by Noah ’40′ Shebib and a music video will be shot during the first week of August.

In terms of musical direction, JoJo describes it as, “something that is musical but still on the cutting edge yet still has an element of nostalgia. It makes me feel the way that hip-hop and R&B in the 90′s kind of makes me feel”. Did ya hear that people? JoJo is bringing oldschool R&B back to the forefront. Yay!
