Nelly Furtado performs a live set for AOL Sessions in Los Angeles recently. The singer sang her way through a couple of songs from her forthcoming fifth album, ‘The Spirit Indestructible’. Nelly has come pretty hard with the material this era and she’s done a fair bit of promo so do not ask me why her first two singles have flopped this time around. I don’t have the answer.

‘Parking Lot’ sounds great. It really gets stuck in your head. If it was commercial appeal Nelly was looking for, she should have went with this track in order for the album to stand a chance. But now I have a horrible feeling it’s going to flop harder than ‘Basic Instinct’. And it doesn’t deserve to.

‘Big Hoops (Bigger the Bigger)’
