At the hands of his girlfriend’s disapproving father, Justin Bieber takes a beating, all for the name of love. The Anthony Mandler-directed visual comes complete with non-linear story telling, cinematic gloss and standard choreography, all in the format of a mini movie. An enjoyable visual for what it’s worth despite the concept being rehashed into the ground. The compulsory dance segment was not really needed as the concept itself would have stood on its own.
The Big Sean-assisted ‘As Long As You Love Me’ is lifted from the 18-year-old’s latest album ‘Believe’, which to date has sold 649k units in the States. The track has so far peaked at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100. Check out the glossy visual for ‘As Long As You Love Me’ below.
