After managing to sustain strong ratings from recent celeb interviews, Oprah Winfrey is continuing that winning streak (despite Beyonce ignoring her pleas to appear on the show). Rihanna‘s heart-spilling interview was OWN’s second highest ratings broadcast in the network’s short history. Now she is back with another edition of ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’. This time, she sits down with Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy-winning actress-singer Jennifer Hudson for an intimate conversation at her home in Chicago.

The interview follows the conviction of William Balfour, who was charged with murdering members of Jennifer’s family in 2008. Balfour is currently serving three consecutive life sentences. The interview airs September 9th on OWN. Check out a preview below.
