Dawn Richard premieres her warrior-themed music video for her ‘Armor On’ single ‘Faith’ and bonus track ‘Wild N’ Young’ today. The short film, directed by Eugene Lee Yang, incorporates inspiration from a Joan of Arc angle, and sees the 29-year-old playing a goddess of faith to her three warriors.
As seen in the clip, Dawn sticks closely to her tribal/warrior concepts which have been a continuity throughout the entire ‘Armor On’ series. She continues to use her artistry stunningly well to get her message and story across.
Just because you’re an independent artist does not mean you can’t creatively stretch your limited resources. This of course is something Dawn has become a master in. She’s definitely a force to be reckoned with. Be sure to check out her debut album ‘Goldenheart’ when it drops in stores on October 16th.
