With Tamia releasing her new album ‘Beautiful Surprise’ a few days ago, this week alone has been quite the eventful one. Earlier today, the R&B songstress sat down with Centric TV’s ‘The Hot 10’ countdown show.

The album is her second one to be released independently and she deems that ‘gratifying’ because she is not tied down by any strings that comes with being signed to a major label. She also talks about a method she’s used during the recording process that she has never used before and explains what it was like to have her husband finally feature in her new music video after 15 years.
