Ashanti is putting her new album ‘Braveheart’ on hold to executive produce a brand new music show entitled ‘Fuse News’. Ashanti appeared on the ‘Today’ show to promote her new gig and speak about her upcoming album ‘Braveheart’. With TRL no longer in existence, the show aims to continue where it left off. It would also serve as a great avenue for Ashanti to promote her music since it gets ignored… a lot these days.

At present, Ashanti is still recording her new album, which will be released on her own ‘Written Entertainment’ imprint and hopes to release it next year. Album or no album, Ashanti is being smart in further expanding her career prospects and choosing to do so in a way that is still musically connected. I look forward to her show and new album (whenever it drops).
