Nelly Furtado takes us behind the scenes of her new music video, ‘Parking Lot’, slated to premiere on September 17th. Nelly films the Ray Kay-directed visual in a dark parking lot where she is seen dancing on top of decorated cars and having lots of fun. The video will also come with some special effects once fully edited. None of her singles (‘Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)’ and ‘Spirit Indestructible’) have charted on the Billboard Hot 100, which is worrying given that her fifth studio album, ‘The Spirit Indestructible’ drops in Stateside stores next week.

However, this song is hot. From what I’ve heard, the album is really giving us some ‘Loose’ vibes. Too bad that a hot album will end up flopping all because of no assistance of a hit single. Hopefully, Nelly gets some better luck with this new track but that is just wishful thinking on my behalf. Why Darkchild was cosigned on all of her singles this era, I’ll never know (he still catered to my musical needs so really I can’t complain can I?). ‘The Spirit Indestructible’ drops in the US on September 18th.
