Too much diva-ism for one show? Not according to Mariah Carey. During a press conference for the new season of American Idol, Carey denies any rumours that she is feuding with her new co-worker rap star Nicki Minaj. Even if they aren’t, the chances are they will at some point. But damn, media just couldn’t wait to pit them against each other even before they had a chance to place their bums on those judging seats. Check out Carey’s comment when the reporter asked about the feud below.

“How are we gonna feud in two days? A feud takes a little longer to spread out [than that]“ says a laughing Mariah adding: “It’s fun, it’s music, it’s singing, it’s laughter.” Minaj cosigns those words with a chuckle. We will see how it all plays out on screen in the coming months.
