R&B trio Destiny’s Child will release a new compilation album next month. The group’s manager Mathew Knowles has set a date of October 9th, 2012 for the release of ‘Playlist’ which will be a “retrospective of the group’s most loved hits.” The project, to feature fourteen tracks, will be released on the 15th Anniversary of the group’s first US number one ‘No, No, No… (Part 2).’ Are you even checking for this? Like seriously, what is the point?

The tracklist, enclosed below, is not that much different from their ‘#1s’ compilation, which was distributed back in 2005. Earlier this year, Knowles announced that two albums will be released from the group, the second to be a collection of previously unheard material. However, he also insisted that the girls will not tour as a group to promote the albums. And this is why the entire thing is a dud because fans expecting a REAL Destiny’s Child reunion won’t get it with this. No new live performances or music videos. It is almost unauthorised. As for the stans, “sucks to be you right now”.
