Girl groups have not been the rage this year. The only one that have done considerably well is Little Mix. Having notched up their second #1 single with ‘Wings’, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall are hoping to continue that chart topping streak. It has been confirmed by UK radio that their third single ‘DNA’ will premiere at 8am on Monday October 1st. The cut, which is deemed an “electro ballad”, is set for release on November 12th, before the album of the same name follows on November 19th.

A music video has been shot and earlier, the girls tweeted about being in rehearsals as they can not wait to perform the track. Of course promo will include the obligatory X Factor performance and then some. Can’t wait hear the track and whether they can follow Rita Ora‘s lead with scoring those three hat trick of consecutive #1′s. Can they do it?
