As Ciara readies the release of her fifth studio album ‘One Woman Army’, the songstress invites MTV onto the video set of the LP’s second serving ‘Got Me Good’. Ciara shot the video for it last week, and now we get a description and the unveiling of the song’s producer, which we now know to be the uber popular Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins. The pair have collaborated previously on her first commercial flop ‘Fantasy Ride’, back in 2009. More deets below.

The Rodney Jerkins-produced ‘Got Me Good’ is a souped-up dance number that recalls the Ghost Town DJ’s 1996 bass classic “My Boo.” Source.
Uptempo. 90′s sample. I don’t know about you, but this excites me. We’re going to get a video that’s actual dance central. Now whether the song is hot or not is a different story completely. Darkchild has been hit and miss these days. On the other hand, she also goes on to say that the new album represents her independence. The Joseph Kahn-directed music video for ‘Got Me Good’ is slated to premiere on October 8th.
