Lady Gaga‘s new album ‘ARTPOP’ is sounding like quite the forthcoming experience. This week, she announced that she is negotiating on whether the album will feature two volumes. The first one, consisting of all the commercial material, while the second one will explore her more experimental side. In an interview with UK’s Style magazine, Gaga shed light on one of those tracks. One of them being a sizzling anthem called ‘G.U.Y.’, which is an acronym for ‘Girl Under You’. Gaga implies that ‘G.U.Y.’ is inspired by her own feel-good expressions on feminism.

Today is Happy Halloween, and to mark the occasion, X Factor alumni Misha B performed a Halloween-themed cover of Michael Jackson‘s ‘Thriller’ exclusively for MSN Music! On paper, this should be a bittersweet disaster. Being the iconic number that it is, ‘Thriller’ is such a theatrical song. So much, that you wouldn’t associate it to somebody ELSE just sitting there on a chair with just the assistance of some guitar strums. Neither would you imagine anyone singing it in such a stripped back manner. But…
Fresh from working with Alicia Keys on his ‘Kaleidsocope Dream’ cut, ‘Where’s the Fun in Forever’, Miguel teams up with Beyonce! Last night, Miguel shared a photo on instagram of himself with a tired-looking Bey during a studio session (October 30th). He wrote “Woah. Creating for Virgo’s all weekend.” Whoa, in deed.
With less than a week to go before the release of their new album ‘Evolution’, and X Factor boyband JLS treat fans to an acoustic performance of ‘Hold Me Down’. The Darkchild-produced cut is lifted from the project and it is highly speculated to be the second single, although nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Continuing their foray into global domination, Little Mix‘s promo tour of Australia saw the gals perform on the country’s very own X Factor (October 30th). They performed their chart-topping single ‘Wings’, and their stage presence seems to have improved a great deal, despite a few off-key notes here and there.
How does Madonna really feel about Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Beyoncé? Apparently, she thinks Gaga has a “good voice”, Beyoncé has an “incredible voice”, Britney is a “good kisser”, Rihanna is “sexy”, Pink is “cool” and Jennifer Lopez has a “nice ass.” Elton John? *gasp* “Nice ass.” Now that’s funny.
Putting aside the uproar that was wig-gate, Britney Spears took her newly crisp bangs to ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ last night. And now eyebrows were raised because seemingly, her latest look was derived from X Factor USA co-judge Demi Lovato. If that is truly the case, she needs to continue swagger jacking her younger Disney peer because she looks great!
Random, but quite welcoming. Mya releases an unexpected music video from her independently released album ‘K.I.S.S’. The project has spawned another visual for ‘Take Him Out’, which involves the ageless singer pairing up with dancehall artist Spice for the Carnival-style, Island-flavoured cut. Watch Mya and Spice giving what for below.
Toni Braxton‘s episode of VH1′s ‘Behind The Music’ was broadcast last night and it was very bitter sweet. The episode is probably the most heart-wrenching pain you will see from an R&B veteran. The 45-year-old mother of two, slams talk show host Oprah Winfrey, for “being mean” to her in an 1998 interview. Winfrey famously berated Braxton on air, regarding her finances and first bankruptcy.
Those wondering what is going on with Rihanna’s very messy era and non-existent promo, look no further. The hardworking singer will be going on a special 7 day, 7 city, 7 show tour during the week her new album ‘Unapologetic’ drops in stores. But the promo is not as epic as previous eras. Interested?
