Hilarious! Despite Nicki Minaj denying the allegations that she threatened to shoot Mariah Carey with a gun, it seems the diva of all divas is not taking any chances with her security. Either that, or she is purposely making this feud to be bigger than what it actually is. Given that this is MC, I certainly wouldn’t put it past her, would you? Despite frosty relations, the pair were civilised enough to pose TOGETHER for a photoshoot on the set. Carey spoke exclusively to Barbara Walters of ‘The View’ about her public spat with Minaj, revealing that she was left “emotionally uncomfortable” following their nasty encounter. She DID confirm to Walters that she’d be hiring extra security after her team told her they heard Minaj making the gun threat, a threat that ‘American Idol’ producer Nigel Lythgoe strongly denies.

Today, they have another round of auditions to get through so hopefully, no actually, I don’t. I want Mariah to snatch off Nicki’s flamboyant wig while the cameras are still rolling. Of course that would make iconic television, but I know that will never happen in a million years. MC just doesn’t have that in her. Stay tuned.
