Chris Brown‘s new artist Sevyn Streeter premieres her official first single ‘I Like It’, and it’s hot! Breezy fans will know her as the guest singer on his cut ‘Cadillac’, and other songs they recorded together. R&B fanatics like myself will recognise her from R&B quad Rich Girl. A girl band created by producer Rich Harrison, that once supported Beyonce on tour but never got the chance to release a debut album. So unfortunate. I was feeling the hell out of their songs and would post them regularly.
The cut, which boasts about enjoying that good love, is packed with synths but it’s still R&B, and a pretty damn good R&B tune at that. I’m so happy we have so many R&B newcomers holding down the genre. First Elle Varner, and now her. In part, I can hear some Beyonce and Keri Hilson in her vocal delivery. The track will be available to download on iTunes, October 30th!
