Today is Happy Halloween, and to mark the occasion, X Factor alumni Misha B performed a Halloween-themed cover of Michael Jackson‘s ‘Thriller’ exclusively for MSN Music! On paper, this should be a bittersweet disaster. Being the iconic number that it is, ‘Thriller’ is such a theatrical song. So much, that you wouldn’t associate it to somebody ELSE just sitting there on a chair with just the assistance of some guitar strums. Neither would you imagine anyone singing it in such a stripped back manner. But…

…despite ‘Thriller’ not being that type of song, it actually worked. Of course it did, in a Misha B sort of way. And this is coming from someone who HATES when other artists cover Michael Jackson songs.
