A Trey Songz performance wouldn’t be a Trey Songz performance without mediocre vocals and ripped off T-shirts. That’s what fans were treated to when they watched his headlining set at the Monster Jam concert over the weekend. The R&B crooner performed cuts from his latest album ‘Chapter V’, as well as older songs from his back catalogue.

Sometimes he sounds like a hot, straining, Scooby Doo mess, but this time he was pitchy and struggling to hit those notes. At least he gave the ladies something to fawn at when he ripped off his top for his “bitches and drink” segment. Overall, he needs to work on his live vocals and this  new music he’s been bringing out.
