The music video for Brandy‘s new single, ‘Wildest Dreams’, premiered on BET’s ’106 & Park’ last night. The cut is lifted from her latest album, ‘Two Eleven’ which to date, has sold 87k units in the States. Sadly, the video was not distributed to VEVO straight after, so for now, you’ll have to make do with this bootlegged, home-recorded clip until the high quality video surfaces.
The video did not really match the song as there was no concept to it whatsoever. While Brandy clearly had fun shooting the visual, it would have been nice to see her channeling how happy she is in her new relationship and seeing how in love she is. She’s been unlucky in the past, so she could have portrayed previous relationship traumas, leading up to finding her prince charming. She did look lovely of course but I expected a little bit more depth from the visual.
