At the time of the taping, the flawless Keyshia Cole was not only celebrating women of colour at ‘Black Girls Rock’. She was also celebrating her 31st birthday when taking to the stage to perform her new single ‘Trust & Believe’ for the very first time. The track also serves as the official second single from her forthcoming new album ‘Woman to Woman’, which hits the shops on November 19th.

Keyshia Cole is singing. Not screaming like a tortured cat. SINGING. By putting some of those breathing vocal exercises to use, she is clearly perfecting her craft as an artist. Her new album is definitely one that I’m anticipating. It’s going to be an interesting chart battle because she is releasing her new album on the same day as Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. Miaow.
