Roc Nation star Melanie Fiona released her latest album ‘The MF Life’ earlier this year. As strong an album as it was, the album seemed like it was put on the backburner and she later joined R&B veterans Mary J. Blige and D’Angelo on their ‘Liberation’ tour. Now she’s back putting some focus  into the album by releasing a vibrant music video for ‘Change the Record’, which features B.o.B.

Ever heard the saying ‘change the record’ when someone has had enough and wants to alter their circumstances for the better? Well, Melanie literally reenacts those very words as she gets the DJ to help her ditch vinyls (the fella) in replacement for another. The clip is fun, bubbly and charismatic as opposed to what you’d expect from the standard break-up visual – tears, arguments and the shredding of clothes. Neat.
