Rita Ora took to the stage at the MTV Europe Music Awards last night to perform her chart topping single ‘R.I.P.’ The 21-year-old rocked a red lace catsuit, which was pretty much a recycled version of the red lace Marchesa gown she wore during her red carpet arrival. The performance was quite the spectacle with its stage pyrotechnics and array of backing dancers.

The ‘Hot Right Now’ star strutted across the stage before whipping off her jacket and jumping around everywhere. Raining fireworks poured down on her parade as she clutched away at an umbrella. Unsurprisingly, it was like watching a Rihanna tribute act post-2007. Because recreating the ‘Umbrella’ video on stage is the best way to distance yourself from those pesky comparisons.

The singer-songwriter released her debut self-titled album, ‘Ora’ in the UK on August 27th, which debuted at number one. The album spawned three number one singles, ‘Hot Right Now’, ‘How We Do (Party)’ and ‘R.I.P’ making Ora the first artist of the year to have three consecutive number one singles on the UK Official Singles Chart.

Looks familiar.

In related news, she will headline a star-studded new years eve show on December 31st at Atlantis Beach, The Palm, Dubai.
